 C.R.H.P, Christ Renews His Parish began in 1969 in Cleveland Ohio as a way to bring the parish community together through a spiritual journey. This began as an adult retreat but years ago after seeing the powerful effect it had, youth ministers adapted it in order to offer it to the younger members of the parish who are seeking help in their spiritual development.
This youth based retreat last only 33 hours but will give life long memories. It is lead by a team of young people who attended the last retreat and dedicated adults who spend six months preparing for it. It is filled with laughter, skits, music, great food, dynamic prayer and liturgy. The weekend allows young people to be in a safe and welcoming environment to be their real selves without the worry of judgement that the outside world is always placing upon them.
This not a silent retreat filled with prayer nor do you have talk in front of people. We promise that you will be delightfully surprised and that you will have an experience as never before!
After you attend the retreat, you are then allowed to become a leader for the next retreat but there is no pressure for you to become a leader if you choose not to.
