 Christ Renews His Parish, or CRHP, is often pronounced “Chirp.” It is a overnight retreat experience which is offered two times a year here at Saint Christina. Small and large group activities, times of prayer and reflection, presentations and discussions, Mass, good fun and laughter, and great food and fellowship are all a part of the experience.
Since its beginning in 1969 in Parma, Ohio, Christ Renews His Parish has proven to be an effective instrument for spiritual growth in hundreds of parishes across the country. Saint Christina as been sponsoring weekends since 2001, one of the longest running programs in the country! There is no charge for the retreat. Several parishioners who attended past retreats are available for any questions you might have.
Many teams go on to meet monthly and yearly activities with all the CRHP Women such as a weekend retreat in Racine, WI or Sister of St Joseph in LaGrange, bunco night, shared dinner with CRHP and family, family picnics, a day spa, planning a new CRHP cookbook and many more.
